Depart Vilnius by private vehicle accompanied by your English-speaking guide.

A first stop nearby Kaunas at Pazaislis monastery- best example of Baltic Baroque dated back to the 17th century.

Kaunas- an interim capital of Lithuania, prospered in 1930s and most famous for Art Deco style. Around 6000 buildings: this is the number of modernist objects. From luxurious concrete villas, temples and public buildings, schools and cultural institutions, to small wooden houses.

Kaunas sightseeing tour includes medieval castle, town hall, Thunder Haus, Vytautas Church, Cathedral, Vilniaus street and Laisves Avenue.
Further drive to the Baltic Sea coast
After reaching Klaipeda -the only port of Lithuania, formerly known as Memelburg, a short sightseeing tour takes us to the Old Town with its narrow, cobblestone streets and old guild houses and we visit the Theatre Square and the Ännchen von Tharau statue.

Visiting Curonian Spit that was formed by the sea, wind and human activity.

Today we will have a short ferry trip to Neringa National Park on the Curonian Spit – a unique and vulnerable, sandy and wooded cultural landscape, washed by the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon.

A combined car and walking tour is an unforgettable trip to the beautiful wild nature with sand dunes, pine forests and golden beaches.

Sightseeing tour includes Great cormorants’ colony and Dead Dunes, the Hill of Witches which houses a hundred fanciful and folksy wooden sculptures scattered along a forest path in Juodkrantė village and Nida resort, the Fisherman’s House, famous German writer Thomas Mann’s House, Amber Gallery, and climbing 52 m high Parnidis Dune.

Depart Klaipeda this morning north across the country to visit the Hill of Crosses, the unforgettable place with thousands of crosses on two small hills. Bulldozed time and again by the Soviets, this mount covered by literally millions of small Christian Crosses became a symbol of local resistance and was visited by the Pope.

Continue to the glorious Rundale Palace, created for one of Catherine the Great’s lover by Bartolomeo Rastrelli, famous for building Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.
